Irrigation Party

We recently hosted an awesome event called the “Irrigation Party” at Pleasant Places. We believe that it is important to keep learning and improving the service we deliver to our customers.

Our skilled Irrigation Technicians teamed up with our Landscape Maintenance Crew Leaders and Supervisors for an evening of hands-on learning. They taught them the basics of irrigation operation and troubleshooting. It wasn’t just a boring lecture – it was a fun, interactive workshop where everyone got to dive in and get their hands dirty.

Here’s some of what they covered:

  • The different types of irrigation systems

  • How to operate irrigation controls and timers

  • Spotting common irrigation issues

  • Quick fixes and repairs for minor problems

  • Tips for efficient water management

Why Cross-Training is a Game-Changer

You might be wondering why we put so much emphasis on cross-training. Well, it’s pretty simple. When our team members know more about different aspects of our services, they can tackle issues faster and more efficiently. That means less downtime for our customers and happier, healthier landscapes.

Plus, when our Crew Leaders and Supervisors understand irrigation, they can:

  • Fix problems on the spot without waiting for a specialist

  • Make our maintenance operations run smoother

  • Help save water and keep landscapes thriving

Our Commitment to Excellence

At Pleasant Places, we’re all about doing things right and keeping our customers happy. That’s why we invest in events like the “Irrigation Party.” We want our team to have the skills and knowledge to handle anything that comes their way. It’s all part of our mission to provide top-notch service every single day.
